Photo sessions or purchasing prints

Introduction:

I am an amateur photographer based in north-western suburbs of Melbourne and take photos as a hobby to relax from my day job and to challenge myself to be creative and expressive as well as to tackle the many technical aspects of fine photography.
with my limited spare time, I will only take on sessions that suit me, but don't be afraid to ask!
sorry, I don't do weddings!
Purchasing prints from me:
- If there is a particular print you would like, email me and I will let you know if it is possible. I get prints made by a professional printer in Melbourne and can post to anywhere in Australia and to USA, Canada, UK and Europe.
- alternatively, you can use the shopping cart facility at the bottom of the print in the JAlbum slideshows to order the prints and pay via PayPal.
- I usually prefer 20" x 30" matte or gloss prints depending on the image. Not all images will be suited to this size.
- matte or glossy print prices (unmounted excluding postage):
  - 10" x 14" = $US49;
  - 14" x 20" = $US59;
  - 20" x 30" = $US79;
- postage adds $US15 for up to 500g (ie. 1-2 prints up to 20"x30").
- payment via my Paypal account (I can send a Paypal invoice to your email address).
- prints will generally be posted within 3-5 working days after I receive your payment.

My equipment:

I like to experiment with different lighting techniques to achieve the creative effects that suit the situation.
I use a variety of image editing programs including Adobe Photoshop to further process the images and to remove blemishes, etc as needed.
My home studio equipment includes:
- three AC-powered flash heads with two large soft-boxes for soft lighting and a honey-combed barn doors kit for controlled lighting of hair.
- Canon 580EX II flash, Olympus ring flash, one Metz 50MZ-5 and five Metz 45 flash guns for additional lighting or where AC power is not available.
- a selection of reflectors
- 3m wide background support system with a range of background options.
- flash light metering.
- high quality digital photography using the Olympus and Canon cameras which can create quality A3 size prints:
  - the Canon 1D Mark III with some great portrait lenses:
    - Canon EF 45mm & 90mm tilt shift lens
    - Canon EF 135mm f/2.0L
    - Canon EF 85mm f/1.8
    - Canon EF 24-105mm L IS
    - Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
    - Canon EF 1.4x TC
  - the Olympus E510 with the high quality lenses:
    - Olympus ZD 7-14mm
    - Olympus ZD 50mm f/2.0 macro
    - Olympus ZD 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD
  - the revolutionary Olympus E330 digital SLR
  - Olympus C8080WZ as backup camera
- 6x6 medium format cameras with a range of lenses for situations where high quality enlargements will be needed or for B&W work.
- a number of Olympus OM 35mm SLR cameras and lenses
