- I don't sell any of these nor do I receive any remuneration if you buy them, and I have not personally reviewed all of them although I have purchased this tent, they are listed here to give you perspective
Introduction
- I have made this page to consider the pros and cons of tents I would actually buy for one-two person camping with some extra room and ability to use a wood stove and a 2P inner tent
- they MUST have a front and rear door AND have a detachable clear TPU door
- they must be easy to set up and relatively storm resistant
- I already own two NatureHike Sand Dune 7.6sq.m tents, and love them but they are cramped for space when having visitors enjoying the wood stove and there is a 1P or 2P tent inside, hence the extra length and height of the Nature Hike Dune 10.9 tent makes this an attractive option - but would an air tent be even better? Perhaps not!

| pros | ||
| much lighter, easier to dry out | removable floor could be useful | |
| more rain proof | more TPUs for visibility in cold weather | |
| cheaper, less bulky | stronger fabric should last longer but at twice the price will it last more than twice as long? | |
| door awnings add extra space and rain protection | more wind resistant | |
| don't need to go outside to close windows | steeper ceiling better for snow? | |
| extra length more space for visitors | extra 20cm width allows walking around a 2P tent but this maybe impacted by lower head height at edges | |
| includes an inner tent | ||
| cons | ||
| fabric tears easily | needs an extra tarp for rain proofing | |
| ideally needs an awning over the door - another role for a tarp | ||
| poles may be damaged in very strong winds | may be too heavy for one person especially when wet | |
| will be much more difficult to dry out | ||
| dangerous risk of sudden deflation whilst stove running | ||
