Reginald Edward FORDHAM (1885-) of Lower Mitcham and his wife Alice Bertha Mildred GRAFTON (1884-) of Kent Town do not appear to be related to me but somehow their wedding photo of 9th September 1911 in Adelaide which was given to a “Harry” by Allie, has made it's way into my mother's collection, presumably from my grandmother's Hutchesson links.
information from his great granddaughter who is writing a novel about Alice:
- Reginald was grand Poobah of two Masonic lodges
- Prior to marrying Reggie, Alice travelled to England to study Music/singing under a famous English contralto Dame Clara Butt. She was a renowned recitalist and concert singer.
