  • smallest full frame mirrorless camera to date achieved by not having a mechanical shutter, hotshoe nor an EVF but does have a built-in heat sink!
  • it is designed to be modular with add on LCD viewers, hotshoe, grips, etc
  • 24.6MP BSI-CMOS sensor with a traditional Bayer filter
  • ISO 100-25,600 but extended down to ISO 6!
  • flash sync 1/30th sec (1/15th sec in 14bit RAW) suggests it will have significant rolling shutter
  • weathersealed; 3.2“ 2.1Mdot touchscreen, SD card slot, HDMI port, flash sync port, mic and headphone ports, USB 3.1 port, and remote shutter port
  • burst rate 14-bit DNG RAW files at up to 18fps for up to 12 frames
  • only 49 CDAFpts (no PDAF)
  • 3 exposure Auto HDR function
  • highlight-shadow tone curve control
  • Cinemagraph mode that will create GIFs where only the moving parts of the image are animated
  • UHD 4K 23.87/25/29.97p
    • 8-bit or 10-bit CinemaDNG at 25/30p internally
    • 12-bit CinemaDNG RAW video at 4K/24p (? externally only)
  • support for waveform monitoring, shutter angle control, T stops and timecode
  • 1080HD up to 119.88p
  • MOV processed video with either Long GOP or ALL-I compression
  • CinemaRAW video can be captured to an external recorder through the USB 3.1 port;
  • compatible with Atomos' open HDMI protocol (although RAW video probably wont be possible via HDMI), thus recording can be started or stopped from the external recorder
  • ability to simulate the aspect ratios of various pro video platforms (via firmware upgrade)
  • optional CN-21 DC connector allows the fp to be powered from an AC power adapter or a V-mount battery plate
  • 112.6 × 69.9 × 45.3mm
  • 370g (422g with the battery and SD card inserted)
