{"id":6846,"date":"2015-04-06T14:11:57","date_gmt":"2015-04-06T04:11:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ayton.id.au\/wp02\/?p=6846"},"modified":"2015-04-06T14:14:03","modified_gmt":"2015-04-06T04:14:03","slug":"sth-australia-port-noarlunga-and-port-willunga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ayton.id.au\/wp02\/?p=6846","title":{"rendered":"Sth Australia &#8211; Port Noarlunga and Port Willunga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Continuing on from my quick <a title=\"my blog post on tips for chilling out and hiring rental cars\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ayton.id.au\/wp02\/?p=6812\" target=\"_blank\">rental car trip<\/a> to South Australia, <a title=\"my blog post on Adelaide\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ayton.id.au\/wp02\/?p=6823\" target=\"_blank\">starting in Adelaide<\/a>, I then decided to stay a couple of nights on the lovely beaches of Port Noarlunga and to use this as a base to explore the Fleurieu Peninisula further south as a day trip &#8211; although one could spend a lot of time exploring this region and the nearby Adelaide Hills which I didn&#8217;t get time to explore.<\/p>\n<p>When I arrived at Port Noarlunga on the Saturday afternoon I was surprised by the car parks all being taken, and it was only when I went down to the beach I discovered South Australias annual surf life saving club championships were being held there all weekend. This proved to be an opportune time to test my new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ayton.id.au\/wiki\/doku.php?id=photo:olympusomdem1\" target=\"_blank\">Olympus OM-D E-M1<\/a> with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ayton.id.au\/wiki\/doku.php?id=photo:olympuszd50-200mm\" target=\"_blank\">Olympus ZD 50-200mm f\/2.8-3.5 SWD lens<\/a> for continuous autofocus in burst mode, and it did better than I expected, although I am sure not as good as could be achieved with the new Micro Four Thirds lens &#8211; the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ayton.id.au\/wiki\/doku.php?id=photo:olympusmzd40-150pro\" target=\"_blank\">Olympus mZD 40-150mm f\/2.8<\/a>.
