a little photo story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It starts off as an idle thought of what to do at the beach on a cool cloudy day without your wet suit &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Your mind starts to wander &#8230; and then you see some nice rounded rocks &#8230;. and you think&#8230; why not pile them up &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/41.media.tumblr.com\/686502ce626f563c4ce8a36f6adcfc32\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o10_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"https:\/\/41.media.tumblr.com\/686502ce626f563c4ce8a36f6adcfc32\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o10_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>after all, a beautiful coastline could always do with a bit more interest, couldn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/36.media.tumblr.com\/80cc40b99cf2c21d26bb916e78c16b72\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o9_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"http:\/\/36.media.tumblr.com\/80cc40b99cf2c21d26bb916e78c16b72\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o9_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and then you do another &#8230; even higher &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/dd36418d5136905e03feab8620e18936\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o7_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/dd36418d5136905e03feab8620e18936\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o7_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>you find some nice big rocks to use as backdrops &#8230;..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/36.media.tumblr.com\/6e026f8c83cc69c902e5823517dbaaa1\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o8_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"http:\/\/36.media.tumblr.com\/6e026f8c83cc69c902e5823517dbaaa1\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o8_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and then .. you are addicted&#8230;. you start doing them up the river too&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/bc434e4eb09e523582a968c54716603a\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o6_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/bc434e4eb09e523582a968c54716603a\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o6_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and you start getting really good at it &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/184d8df3f0aca6f5ddce439bc26eaf73\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o3_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/184d8df3f0aca6f5ddce439bc26eaf73\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o3_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and you just can&#8217;t stop &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/3d9e079351a1a6480e90daa5c6352de2\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o4_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/3d9e079351a1a6480e90daa5c6352de2\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o4_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>then along comes someone to copy your craze, but rather pathetically, as everyone knows that this rock is not going to work like that!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/2017ce1904f539eefa485c543e377e5d\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o2_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"https:\/\/40.media.tumblr.com\/2017ce1904f539eefa485c543e377e5d\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o2_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>while other tourists appreciate all the hard work and stop to take pics &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/41.media.tumblr.com\/5be90e5e826324196807946e2515cb6b\/tumblr_o2y346lUoU1r38gd1o1_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"http:\/\/41.media.tumblr.com\/5be90e5e826324196807946e2515cb6b\/tumblr_o2y346lUoU1r38gd1o1_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and eventually much of the beach is covered in rock cairns &#8230; and it looks kind of weird, rather than beautiful &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/41.media.tumblr.com\/5731797cdde1e0e1f4e29a3641b6189e\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o1_1280.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rock piles\" src=\"https:\/\/41.media.tumblr.com\/5731797cdde1e0e1f4e29a3641b6189e\/tumblr_o2y1v51LYZ1r38gd1o1_1280.jpg\" width=\"600\/\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia.<\/p>\n<p>All images shot with Olympus OM-D cameras and the pro lenses.<\/p>\n<p>Of course I did not create these cairns I don&#8217;t have that much OCD &#8211;
