USB-C rechargeable lanterns / camp lights

Introduction
- a dimmable, warm glow USB-C rechargeable lantern with outputs to at least 100 lumens with replaceable lithium batteries which can also act as a power bank for your smartphones is a nice addition to your camping gear
- NB. insects do not see red / orange lights as well as they can see white / blue lights
- if using a camp area flood light ENSURE IT FACES DOWNWARDS
- facing outwards not only adversely impacts other campers trying to sleep but it will BLIND campers walking towards it and create a major falls risk hazard
- there are many falls hazards around camp grounds including uneven ground and tent guy ropes - PLEASE do not add to the risk - serious lifelong disabling fractures may result!
- lights around your camp site are great as they attract most of the insects towards your camp site and away from other more sensible campers!
Retro style compact lanterns

- 12V 500W (one light panel) or 800W (two light panels) light output 6500K cold white LED (uses ~47W power for the 500W equivalent light output of 4500lumen) with remote control on 4.5m long fishing rod with a fishing rod stand but no power source

tactical long range high intensity torches
- these have very narrow intense beams which can reach 0.5-1.5km
- mainly designed for hunters to use on rifles they can be of limited utility when camping and could be used to temporarily blind an assailant - although the benefits of doing so are dubious
