reviews
-
- 0.14% barrel distortion ie. almost nil!
- 1.3EV vignetting - much better than the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L USM lenses
- very sharp centre, soft corners due to considerable coma, centre sharpest at f/4, edge-to-edge sharpness best at f/5.6-f/8
- minimal lat. CA 0.6px
- bokeh a little nervous and shows long. CA
- a bit tricky to find the exact manual focus due to the very short focus path
-
- AF is ~2x faster than the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L USM lenses II version
-
- minimal 5% astigmatism
- coma worse than the Zeiss 1.4/85 and the Nikkor AF-S 1.4/85 but a tad better than the Canon 1.2/85, but the best coma correction is the cheap Samyang / Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 lenses!
