butane aerosol cartridge stoves for camping

Introduction

these stoves use cheap aerosol can shaped butane cartridges
these are readily available in most supermarkets and hardware or camping stores and are a very affordable way to cook at camp
the main downside is that they do not work in near freezing conditions due to the boiling point of butane being at around that temperature

a hiking stove (see gas_hiking) combined with a butane cartridge adapter and tripod stand

these are not much bigger than an aerosol can as the stove stows away into the butane cartridge section when stored
