- slightly more closely focusing
- 1 stop wider aperture and shallower DOF
- seems to have nicer bokeh balls and the out of focus areas near the focus point seem more blurred at same aperture (presumably this is what Olympus means with more “feathered bokeh” - distant bokeh is similar at same apertures

- only a minimal dip in sharpness starting around f/11 and continuing until f/16
- 0.5EV vignetting and minimal CA wide open
