• this new medium format mirrorless system was announced June 2016 which will use the new Hasselblad XCD lenses and is based around a 43.8×32.9mm sensor (0.79x crop factor compared with 35mm full frame)
• the XCD lenses are CDAF optimised but have a smaller image circle than the H series and thus cannot be used with a larger sensor, and obviously have a shorter sensor to flange distance and cannot be used on the H series cameras.
• optional adapter enables using Hasselblad H series medium format cameras series lenses
