his wife, Louisa Gosper (1855-1925), daughter of Edward GOSPER (c1832-1906) and Louisa HUXLEY (1838-1925), both of Lower Portland Head, Hawkesbury, NSW.
- Louisa HUXLEY was daughter of Thomas HUXLEY (1804-c1880) and Mary Evans (1806-1859), and grand-daughter of Thomas Jones HUXLEY (1769-1854), a convict transported on the Salamander in 1791, and his wife, Ann FORBES (1771-1851) of Surrey, England.
