the Beauchamp Falls campground is an elevated site with some nice views to the west (but can be very windy) and a moderate 45min each way walk down to the Beauchamp Falls through fern tree and eucalypt rainforest and creek settings
it is a free bush camp with drop toilets but no potable water nor showers
if the rating is Extreme, the region is likely to become a day of Total Fire Ban, if it is rated Catastrophic - you will be required to evacuate from the camp ground and forest areas
in addition, the National Parks have fire restrictions as well as the CFA's Fire Danger Period restrictions which usually apply from Nov-April.
