- it is very close to residential areas of Big Hill and Kangaroo Flat

- it is ONLY for tents NOT for caravan, trailer or motorhome access
- sites are scattered among open Box-Ironbark forest
- campground and facilities may be closed when Dja Dja Wurrung cultural events are being held
