  • I don't sell any of these nor do I receive any remuneration if you buy them, and I have not personally reviewed all of them, they are listed here to give you perspective

Introduction

  • MANY gazebos are destroyed by strong winds or rains - don't add to waste by buying an inferior product and leaving it up in storms or strong winds!
    • strong wind gusts can destroy plastic hubs in those gazebos which use these to hold the frame together
    • rain even destroys many metal framed gazebos when it pools on the roof and the weight causes it to break and collapse

Relatively storm proof gazebos

Fibreglass frame pull out "clam" gazebo / insect screens

Air beam inflatable gazebos

Metal frame gazebos

  • these are all very heavy and can be problematic for one adult to lift onto a roof rack, especially those over 25kg
  • these take much longer to set up and take down so tend to be left up during storms HOWEVER, care should be taken to avoid rain water pooling on them and less well designed models may still break from either weight of water or the winds
